Can you leave Sansevieria (Mother In Law's Tongue) outdoors in the ground during the winter?

I live in Central Kentucky. Will it come back in the spring like a canna?

Can you leave Sansevieria (Mother In Law's Tongue) outdoors in the ground during the winter?
No. Not it won't, my dear. The Sasevieria is a succulent and will die if frozen. Find a nice deep pot and take it inside, give it filtered light and water only when it is very dry. If the tongues are long, tie them together to keep them from falling over and breaking. Keep children and pets away from it, not only for the plant's safety but it's not a tasty plant and it can poison small children. Good luck.
Reply:I wish to God I could.
Reply:God forgive me, but this is the only time I will probably ever do this. Leave the Mother In Laws Tongue Outside. It doesn't belong in your home. Sorry Nadine.
Reply:no... they are tropical and freeze dead at 32degrees F.
Reply:yes just cover the clumps with leaves or straw if you have a severe frost the plant should still survive and come back next year .goodluck tip ie if you are not sure dig up the clumps and put them in a shed and cover them with straw and plant out next year

Reply:if climate stays mild there shouldn,t be a problem
Reply:I have done this, but I am in zone 9. If it freezes it will die.
Reply:Nope, it'll be dead as a doornail.
Reply:No, unless you live in a very warm area of the country.
