As it's Robbie Burns Day, please tell me which of the ploughman's bard poems you think is best?

My favourite is "To a Mouse".... and the last stanza always makes me think so much.



Still thou are blest, compared wi' me!

The present only toucheth thee:

But och! I backward cast my e'e,

On prospects drear!

An' forward, tho' I canna see,

I guess an' fear!

Tam O'Shanter is considered the best. Once you've heard it read by Mary MacConnell you believe it.
