Can you believe that some people here thinks that Andrea Pirlo is ''greater'' than Zinedine Zidane?

No, I'm not joking. Emma, Juventina and Sexy Canna think that Pirlo is better than Zidane. Juventina also thinks that Zidane is overrated. I mean, why do some people have trouble admitting that Zidane is a legend. The Italian fans are making me lose my respect for the italian players by talking crap about zidane. I absolutely like emma, juventina and sexy canna but this is absolutely unbelievable. Pirlo better than zidane.....

Pirlo is one of the players I respect most in the Italian team. A very quiet achiever, and a hard no nonsense worker who I thought was very under rated through out the WC, but no sorry, in my opinion he is not better than Zizou. His game is not as developed nor his vision. Love him or hate him, there will not be many that will reach the level of Zidane.

Andrea Pirlo is way better then Zidane all of his goals aren't off a penalty they are real ones!

Reply:pirlo might not have had as much 'superstar' fame during his career just yet, but i think he's definitely getting there. and have you seen his goals? for his club, AC Milan, and for Italy? they're always these amazing long-range shots. zidane is a penalty taker. theyre both midfielders but i think if we had more time to compare pirlo would come out on top
Reply:i'm not italian, so maybe you won't think i' biased too. at this point in time, zizou is the greater player. however if pirlo continues the way he is %26amp; keeps hi head, he can only get better with time.... maybe even greater than zizou someday.

Reply:Well, I know that Pirlo ain't legendary as Zidane but Zidane was a nobody before 1998 World Cup (He scored twice) and he was on cloud nines but Pirlo has gained such attributions by fighting his way out. But to me Zidane is nothing in front of Didier Deschamps.
